Google Classroom

As of now, most of the students in grades 2-5 have created an account on Google Classroom, which means students can create, share, and learn at all times of the day. Each week, students will be given new assignments that they can do as part of the STATION ACTIVITIES in the library. It is important for students to know the following:

  1. student number (lunch number)
  2. how to type the “@” sign
  3. the email -> student#@salem.k12.va.us
  4. their GOOGLE PASSWORD

Looks kind of like this:

“34543@salem.k12.va.us” is the email
“Giju3454” is the password

Here is an example of what students are creating using TEMPLATES in GOOGLE CLASSROOM.

DISCLAIMER: We will be working on COPYRIGHT once students feel comfortable navigating through the CHROMEBOOKS, search engines, and skills needed to use GOOGLE CLASSROOM.
